Focus
World-class performers develop a narrow, non-distractible attention/focus, as knowing how to control focus is as important as knowing what to focus on. Focus and attention are foundational to maintaining a balanced, healthy life. They help us manage our mental and emotional states, improve relationships, enhance productivity, and make better decisions — all of which lead to better well-being. In this workshop we develop an applied attention strategy, and explore the learned skill of not reacting to or being distracted by stressors or deterrents to focus.
Fortitude
Fortitude is essential for high performance because it enables individuals to overcome obstacles, stay disciplined, perform under pressure, and keep progressing despite setbacks. It strengthens mental resilience, fosters long-term growth, and helps maintain focus on long-term goals. Whether in sports, business, or personal development, fortitude is what allows high performers to rise above challenges, stay true to their vision, and continually push toward excellence. In this workshop we explore aspects of grit, mental toughness, and resilience in uncertain conditions.
Finding Flow
Flow is a powerful contributor to well-being because it merges challenge and skill in a way that fosters joy, satisfaction, and a deeper connection to our inner selves and the world around us. It reduces stress, enhances creativity, improves performance, and increases our sense of purpose and meaning. Ultimately, flow helps us experience life more fully and meaningfully, which is central to living a fulfilling and healthy life. In this workshop we explore how to create the conditions of work and play that make finding flow more likely!
