Egbert Langstraat, BSc MA MPsych
Egbert is a coach, therapist and teacher. He holds degrees in psychology, psychomotor therapy and psychotherapy. His work addresses the intersection of psychology and physiology, incorporating body-mind synergy with various tools and methods for exploration, resolution and integration. Egbert trained at several universities in Holland (University of applied sciences Windesheim, University of Groningen and University of Amsterdam), and has 15 years of experience working as a counsellor in hospitals. He currently still holds a position at the university of applied sciences Arnhem en Nijmegen in Holland as a supervisor and assessor. He has written a number of articles regarding body awareness, emotions and behavior.
Egbert’s techniques of expertise are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), schema-focused therapy, and Pesso-Boyden psychotherapy. Egbert has been highly effective in the treatment of anxiety, depression, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual trauma and many other traumas. He has been employed in counselling, family therapy, couples therapy and executive coaching for individuals and corporate clients.
Chelsea McGowan, Reg. Clinical Counsellor
Chelsea McGowan is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) working in Vancouver, BC. She offers individual and group psychotherapy and supervision sessions both in person and online. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and has been practicing for 9 years. Chelsea’s continued education includes specific and extensive trainings in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Gottman Couples Counselling, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Intersectional Feminism, and Somatic based and parts work interventions.
Jack Miller, CCC, Reg. Clinical Counsellor
Jack divides his time between private practice and the industrial sector, specializing in sleep disorders, behavior modification, and professional motivation and engagement. His lifelong involvement in Judo and Rugby at collegiate, national, and international levels has given him a deep understanding of overcoming barriers such as fear and irrational thoughts, realizing that the skills to overcome these can be applied universally. Jack employs a brief-motivational and solution-focused approach to help individuals overcome barriers more efficiently.
